About Me
I'm Annie, a proud Michigander with a deep love for where I'm from, as well as my second home, Scotland. I have a BA in English from Kalamazoo College, and an MLitt in Creative Writing from the University of Stirling. I was also formerly the Chief Storyteller for the Small Giants Community. My work with this organization has led me to be particularly interested in writing for purpose-driven businesses.
I enjoy applying my fiction writing skills to marketing and content writing for other businesses. Maintaining a clear voice for each client is key, yet a skill that is often overlooked. I also have a keen eye for editing, and much of my professional writing has been within the automotive, healthcare, pet care, and non-profit industries.
When I'm not writing, I'm often exploring the outdoors or working as a manager at Barkside Detroit.

Utilizing SEO practices can help with lead generation and the marketing of your business. I can help by implementing keywords, structuring blog posts properly for SEO, and offering content suggestions through SEO research.
